We work with profitable owner-led businesses across Europe. You may be approaching retirement age with no clear successor in mind. Or you may be ready for the next chapter and want to ensure that the work of your lifetime passes into good hands. Selling a business is one of the most significant decisions an entrepreneur makes. It deserves high-quality, expert advice.
Owner-managed SME
Revenue €1M – €30M
Intention to sell
01
Preliminary materials are shared anonymously. Prospective buyers find out the name of the business only after signing a non-disclosure agreement. The process is handled professionally and discreetly.
02
We base our valuations on comparable transactions, current market conditions, and the outlook for your industry and business.
03
Savantiq takes the lead on the sales process and ensures that the owner can continue day-to-day operations as normal throughout. Selling a business typically takes 3–9 months from signing the sales mandate.
04
Savantiq has an extensive buyer network. We go through the buyer list with you carefully. The decision takes into account company culture and people — not just price.
Understanding how sale-ready your business is represents the first step towards a successful transaction. Our complimentary exit readiness assessment takes just a few minutes and gives you a clear picture of your business' strengths, areas for improvement, and readiness to sell.
Start with the exit readiness assessment01
Week 1
We get to know your business, discuss your timeline, and explore what a good outcome looks like for you. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before any confidential information is shared.
02
Week 2
A detailed sale readiness assessment covering financials, customers, management, and legal matters. The findings are delivered as a written report with an action plan.
03
Week 3
Data gathering and preparation of sales materials, led by a senior adviser.
04
Weeks 4–6
A confidential sale process conducted with a carefully selected group of prospective buyers. The identity and details of the business remain undisclosed until a prospective buyer has executed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
05
Weeks 7–10
We create a competitive process that generates multiple offers. We manage buyer interactions, coordinate management presentations, and lead negotiations to achieve the best possible outcome and terms.
06
Weeks 10–12
We coordinate legal and other workstreams through to closing. Where needed, we also support monitoring during any earn-out period.
Our compensation is success-based, ensuring that our interests are fully aligned with yours from the very beginning.
No upfront fees
€0
We charge no upfront fees. You pay for results, not for effort.
First meeting
Free of charge
Complimentary consultation with one of our senior advisors.
Success fee
5–7 %
A percentage of enterprise value at the time of closing. The fee is agreed in advance so there are no surprises. The exact commission depends on the size and complexity of the transaction.
Not without your permission. The process is conducted confidentially, and information is shared only with carefully selected prospective buyers under a non-disclosure agreement. Employees, customers, and other stakeholders are informed only at an agreed stage of the process.
That is entirely normal. Many of our clients begin the conversation months or even years before an actual transaction. We help assess options, improve the business' sale readiness, and understand market conditions — with no commitment to a sale process. Understanding your options early always leads to a better outcome.
We approach buyers from our network who are the best fit for your business — typically strategic acquirers, entrepreneur-led growth companies, private equity investors, and family-owned businesses. The buyer search is always tailored to your business' objectives, sector, and circumstances.
Not necessarily. We start with a conversation about your business and your goals. We then help you gather the necessary materials and information step by step.
Tell us briefly about your business. We will respond within one working day.
